Meetzi vs. Google Calendar
Keep your calendar. Build a booking experience around your services.
Google Calendar appointment schedules let people book directly into your calendar. Meetzi adds a dedicated space for scheduling across Google and Outlook, running group sessions, and sharing your services with dynamic QR codes.
Why consider Meetzi?
More flexibility for the way you meet clients
A booking link is a good start. When your work involves different calendars, group sessions, or promoting services in person, the details of your scheduling tool matter.
Book individual and group sessions
Meetzi Pro supports classes and group sessions with multiple participants. Google allows each appointment time to be booked once; adding co-hosts or guests is different from letting clients reserve separate places in a class.
Use your preferred calendars and video tools
Meetzi connects directly to Google Calendar and Outlook and can generate Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams links. Google’s appointment setup generates Meet links; its instructions for other conferencing services involve adding a link after booking.
Make printed materials work harder
Meetzi Pro includes dynamic QR codes with scan statistics and editable destinations. Put a code on a poster or business card, then update where it leads without reprinting it.
Feature comparison
Compare scheduling features on paid plans
This table compares Meetzi Pro with Google Calendar appointment schedules on Workspace Business Standard. Google’s free personal-account option is more limited; other Google subscriptions unlock different features.
| Feature | Meetzi Pro | Google Calendar · Business Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Multiple booking pages | Unlimited | ✓ |
| Calendar connections | Google Calendar and Outlook | Calendars available in Google Calendar |
| Check several calendars for conflicts | ✓ | ✓ |
| Choose where appointments are saved | Calendar per booking type | Primary or secondary Google calendar |
| Collect payments at booking | Stripe | Stripe |
| Automatic video meeting links | Zoom, Google Meet, Teams | Google Meet |
| Custom booking questions | ✓ | ✓ |
| Automated email reminders | ✓ | Up to 5; fixed email text |
| Group sessions with separate client bookings | ✓ | One booking per time slot |
| Sharing and promotion | Booking links, dynamic QR codes, scan stats | Booking links, website buttons, embeds |
Group sessions mean multiple clients booking places in the same session. Google co-hosts and the option for a guest to invite others do not make a time slot independently bookable more than once.
Choose Meetzi if…
- You run classes or group sessions where clients need to book their own places.
- You use Google Calendar and Outlook and want direct connections to both.
- You want automatic meeting links for Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams.
- You promote services with printed QR codes and want to track scans.
- You want a dedicated scheduling subscription without upgrading a productivity suite.
Choose Google Calendar if…
- One free booking page meets your needs and you already use a personal Google Account.
- You prefer managing appointment schedules directly in Google Calendar.
- Your eligible Workspace subscription already includes the premium features you need.
- Google Meet and appointments booked by one client at a time fit your workflow.
Pricing
Start with what your account already includes
- Meetzi offers a free plan with three booking pages and unlimited bookings. Pro costs $3.99/month billed annually ($47.88/year), or $4.99 with monthly billing.
- A personal Google Account can create one booking page for free. Workspace Business Starter also includes one page.
- Workspace Business Standard includes the paid features shown above as part of a broader suite. If you already subscribe, there is no separate scheduling subscription to add.
- Google One Premium, Google AI Pro, and Google AI Ultra include multiple schedules, reminders, and multiple-calendar checks, but do not include appointment payments. Workspace Individual and selected other Workspace plans support payments.
Compare the features in your exact Google plan before upgrading. Workspace also includes email, storage, and collaboration tools, so its full price is not just a scheduling fee. Prices and plan features may change; Stripe processing fees are separate.
Choose around your appointments
Google Calendar is a practical choice for straightforward appointments, especially when your account already includes the features you need. Meetzi is worth trying when group sessions, direct Google and Outlook connections, a choice of video services, and dynamic QR tools are part of your everyday work.
